Submarine cable

The ACE system (Africa Coast to Europe), which belongd to an international consortium with the same name, is a submarine fiber optic cable system that begins in France and reaches several countries in the West-African continent. Bata is the point of arrival in Equatorial Guinea. Each of the countries participating in the ACE Consortium has a bandwidth allocated within the cable.

The ACE cable, online since 2012, provided Equatorial Guinea with a very important qualitative leap in terms of its communications with the rest of the world, being able to have a high-performance connection with the main International Carriers, reducing the digital distance and improving the economic and social development of the country.
